adding bettas to your family.Bettas Splendens or Siamese Fighting
Fish as they are sometimes called are a great fish for freshwater
aquariums (not cups or small vases).Bettas come in all kinds of
beautiful colors and all kinds of personlitys your Betta can have a long
and happy life with just a little tender loving care to keep it
healthy.Never put two Betta males together in the same aquarium
without a divider they are Fiercely territorial and may fight to the
death.Aquariums should not be smaller then three gallons the smaller
the tank the more the tank will need to be cleaned which can stress
your Betta.Your Betta is a tropical fish and likes the water temperature
somewhere between 72 - 80 degrees water temperature is very
important to your Bettas health.Water Quality is another important to
keeping your Betta happy and healthy If no filtration system is used
then the tank will need to be cleaned more often which means added
stress to your Betta.Do not over load your tank with fish rule of thumb
is 1 inch of fish per gallon of water 5 gallon tank = 5 inches of
fish.Your betta fish diet should be mostly meats frozen crayfish
eggs,brine shrimps,as well as bloodworms for fiber small amounts of
